The clear bra looks awesome... that last pic of the nearly finished hood looks spectacular. I saw a car at my dealer (JZB) with 1/2 the hood done and it looked ridiculous -- the car was a little dusty from sitting outside and you could very clearly see the line where the bra stopped. The way yours was done, there won't be any such nonsense. Brilliant. I might actually go for it when my car arrives.

You've answered questions about washing and waxing, but what about heat? Won't the heat from the engine bay cause the clear bra to bubble or discolor since it covers the entire surface? Were you given any guarantees against that?

Venture shield is the best product out there...PERIOD.....the clear bra they showed me at the dealer looked HORRIBLE....it just had a matte finish too it that looked odd and the lines were really obvious....I would love to see sayemthree's in person, since he got the full kit & I only got the partial..... My installer did say he "could" do the full kit, but it would take 2 days!! It took him 8.5 hours to do my standard clear bra and 5 window tint.....

As for my garage...yes it is a train wreck....BUT I do consider it a well organized train wreck :>) One of these days I will move a bunch of that junk to the storage where the 928 lives now :>( It is sad that I only have a 2 car garage..... I just couldn't talk the wife's Acura out of its garage space....

it wont bubble in heat - I had the older film on my e46 M3 for 3-4 years. on a black car. you do need to wax it every 3-6 months like paint - helps keep it clean and stain resistant. not dure how many years or if it matters. if it comes up from workmanship DozaDesigns will repair it.

Icemang17 - Sears point in Nov with GG CCA - I plan to be there.

so all paint correction/swirls need to be removed before applied correct?

Must the paint be stripped of all wax/polishes before applying?

I dont think its that important. as long as it clean. they spray on a water soap solution first. the clear bra can actually hide imperfections - for example if youput it over old acrylic headlight covers that are pitted, they look like brand new. if you have any chips before the clear bra, use touch up paint and they disappear under the bra.

I'm getting the clearbra as soon as my car gets in at the dealer. I just hope they will actually do it and not just charge me $995 and tell me that they did. Is there an easy way to check to see if it's been applied?

oh yeah - you can see it if you get a foot or two away - depending on how good they are. if you dont get the full hood you will see a line across the hood. but from 5-10 feet away its invisible.

Doza designs is good he trained the guy from premier. looks awesome
He did NOT train anyone from Premier - this is for the record in a public forum. Again, this is a public statement - not one person from Premier was trained by anyone affiliated with Doza. This is 100% false. All of Premier's installer's and techniques were created from within.

by the way, great looking car sayemthree.

my Bad - I used the work "trained", not Bain. Sam worked with him....whatever that means. you dont need to get such an attitude about it and make accusations, what kind of business practise is that? such attitude resonates from your responce it turns me off. like I said it was my mis-use of the term.

As far as ALL of you at Premier being trained from within? get real, you may be one of the best but you didnt invent the practice!

His work speaks for itself - no tactics convinced me his work was good other than seeing it -he's done dozens of cars for my friends and BMW CCA instructors and this is the 4th car he's done for me.

From someone who's seen both sides, I would give my thumbs up to Premiere. I've used Eddie & Bane when they used to work together. They were good. I decided to use Premiere several years ago and their handiwork is much better. I am quite meticulous, so that just might be my problem. One of the issues I had with Eddie / Bane was that their cuts weren't always straight and would have some sand under the bra in the lower areas. I have a storage lift at my place and when the cars go up in the air, I saw how jagged the bra edges were where it ends. There were other issues that I'd rather not talk about here. I pick up on these things, so when I inspected premiere's work closely on my GT2, I didn't find the flaws that I saw with Eddie / Bane. Since then, they've worked on all of my cars and redid others from the past. Happy with every one. If you have time, waiting for premiere to come down is worth it.

For whats its worth the expel demo car at the dealership I saw did not impress me....its hard to explain without looking at the venture shield car next to it, but the expel clear bra just didn't look as good...it was more flat looking with more orange peel....so it was easier to tell where it was on the car...vs the venture shield where you can't tell at all unless you see the lines...

Also the clear bra WORKS....my car got drilled by a rock yesterday.....huge impact on the freeway...when I got home I found the impact (looks like the rock blew up) wiped it off & you can't even tell it got hit!!!! I am VERY impressed!! I have no doubt that rock would have left a nasty scratch if I didn't have the clear bra!!!

That's good to hear Brian... not that you were hit, but that it didn't leave any divots or marks in the VentureShield coating. I'm sold!
