that car sounds like a $60k car, maybe a teeny bit lower...i take it no premium audio, or extended leather. i can't think of anything else major this car is lacking..

I have to agree the car should sell in the very low $60K range with that milage (thinking of the US market, in Canada this car would cost around $68K to $70K).

When you are serious about getting an M3 be sure to tell the Salesman ... "I am comparing your car to two others with very similar options" he soon will sharpen his pencil and give you a fair price. If not just walk away and find another dealer

A new custom ordered 2012 with the options listed would probably be $74kish at MSRP. Just order a new one at that price. They are asking way too much for a used car with 12K on it.

If you like the car the most I would offer would be 60. My 2012 with 4 miles was $67,995 less tax.

I almost bought a car with those exact same options and miles at Schaumburg Illinois, we managed to bring the dealer down to 58k.

...What OP is saying is that the MSRP when new was $72,075.

OP, based on these replies the offered-price looks in-line.

Thanks for all the input, it is very helpful. There are a lot of cars on the market right now so I feel it is more of buyers market. I am thinking $57k would be a good price as the buyer. Thoughts?

I think you're in the ball park at $55-$57k, you should notice more and more M3's in the market as the models change over so stick with that price. Is it private party or dealer?

Offer $55k, and be prepared to meet somewhere in the middle.

be prepared to offer 55 and get rejected on the spot and pay high 50's and low 60's. There is a 2-3k premium for an M3 in california they go super quick and always have people willing it pay the price. Prem sound and no extened leather are bummers for me but the ZCP makes it real attractive. If you can get it for 57-59 you have a deal.

It has to be sub 60K or just order a new one. Why bother paying so much when a little bit more is new. If I were you I would stretch and order one up from one of the sponsors here. It's great there's healthy demand for preowned though! Everytime I see one for sale at a local dealer they're gone pretty quickly.

All you low-ballers are killing current owner's resale value. It's really F'ing annoying. All this 2011.4, 2011.75. Some poor bastard spend 73k plus taxes etc and you guys wnat to low ball a year later for 58k. Ouch. No wonder porsche owners are so cautious with resale value, my M3 will be worth 15k in 2 years. ....

I'm seriously never buying an M3 again, worst resale value ever.

Actually demand for the last of the naturally aspired M cars is pretty strong. Low mileage cars with all the bells and whistles will demand a premium price.

That said, $60k seems a tad high. You can be sure that the original buyer didn't pay sticker. So, I'd start offer at $54k and meet in the middle - say $57.5 max.

Unless this car is super clean (like new) be prepared to walk away. There are still plenty of used M3's out there and time and patience will get you the one you want.

You didn't say if this is dealer (CPO?) or private sale. This can impact pricing.

Pictures?

Idk where they are getting the Sub 60K numbers. I think it will still pull 60K pretty easily. And that being the case ED a NEW 2012.

Thanks again for the replies. I was originally interested in a white car only, my personal favorite. This gray car came up and I thought maybe I could live with gray cause it is a nice color. After giving it some thought, I am going to hold out for a white E92. I am just looking to get a fair price that works for myself and the seller.

If anyone has a white E92 with the options (or close) that I listed in my OP, please PM me. Prefer west coast.

It should definetelly be in the 60's. I think you'd be crazy if let go below 60k.
