Help Detailing!!!
Hey guys so i'm no professional detailer so i need your help. I'm about to wash my car and looking to remove the wax put on by the dealership and heard dawn dish washing soap was the best. i have the sunlight one and was wondering if that will work okay without damaging the paint (i have jerez black).
Also, would rubbing alcohol damage the paint if i used 50% isopropyl and 50% water? |

The soap should be fine. What you'll be looking for is a complete drop in surface tension. Once you're doing your rinse (after the wash), you shouldn't see any beading. If there's still a lot of beading, that's an indicator that there's something still on the surface of the paint that needs to be removed.
I'd recommend using glass cleaner rather than alcohol. |

I'd recommend something like this Invisible Glass aerosol can over most things. You can find it in nearly all autoparts stores. Make a couple of phone calls so you don't waste time driving around and you'll be good to go! Happy detailing! |
