I went for the first time, got to meet Tony (M5sile) and a few other people. Didn't get to hear any exhausts, but really liked the 18" gunmetal rims that were powder coated black. I took a pic but don't have it uploaded. Love the look of that on the Alpine white. My car is/was way too stock, I got mod fever

That was my car. Sorry man. Next time we'll all come and you can listen to multiple exhausts... I think amongst my friends there is a Akrapovic, M Performance, Arqray (though that one will change soon), and Innotech.

Hey Hsin-

Thanks for the offer; I'm new to the list, but had my M about a year now. My rims have some curb rash, but I would really like to have the power coated like yours. What does that cost?

The akra I heard at a Dinan event last year, sounded amazing, but a little rich for my blood at least for the full. I was standing next to Steve Dinan revving his souped up M when the akra pulled in and basically my jaw dropped.

If anyone wants to go for a 'sprited' drive after next C&C on Saturday, or any other time, just let me know. I did mt. hamilton -> del puerto, out to 5, back to the junction and out Mines Rd last weekend. Mines was the best part by far.

I like to do 9 to boulder creek, over Empire, Pine Flat, bonny doon to 1, up to Pescadero, 84, then skyline back to 9. Same roads as I like to take my bikes, but much easier in the car. Highway 9 is my religion when I'm not at the track on my bike(s).
