with the pole positions it looks like the stock seat belt setup wouldnt work very well. lap belt wouldnt be able to get in tight on you because of the bolsters? how is that fixed?

As you can see from the picture below, we actually run the belt look through the bottom hole there. It actually works quite well.

Dear Anthony,

I am highly interested in a set of those Recaro Pole Position seats. The ones shown in your last post look fantanstic - I think they would match my Z3 M Coupé perfectly.

Can you give me any further information about the specific model? In Germany, there are 3 versions available: full cloth, leatherette/dinamica (actually is a cloth but pretty much looks like alcantara) and fullleather. I prefer leatherette/dinamica. Which kind of covering is on the seats in Brandon's post 47 and in your post 104 and which exact model is it? The "RECARO" stitching is much smaller and lower positioned compared to the seats available in Germany, therefore your seats look much better in my opinion. Here is a picture:
Recaro Pole Position leatherette/dinamica german version

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Best regards,
Phil

So is there any way to get a set of Sportster CS's in factory Fox Red leather? I'm thinking that might look pretty trick in the sedan I have ordered.

The light can be removed either by the Macht Schnell OC3 module (>MY09) or by coding. Either way - the passenger dashboard airbag is disabled as a result. All other airbags will still be functional.

With the OC3 module, the overhead light is illuminated as a reminder.

Recaro has the S08 program in which approved leathers can be used as per customer's specifications. As long as the leather can be sourced - it can be made.
