I ran 37/40 cold at my one and only time at the track. I think that was probably a little high. I did not push the car real hard, but the rear liked to step about under hard accelaration. 35/35 has been mentioned for rain, but I have no experience. Guessing, you might wish to try 36/38 cold as a bench mark.

I have a square setup 275/35/18 and usually start the day at 38 psi all around. As the tires heat up and the pressure builds up, I monitor the pressure and how far to the side of the tire I am getting rubber contact.
Tires typically heat up to about 45 psi after a 30 min session and I usually drop a few pounds after the first session or so.

I usually check the pressure as soon as I am back in the pits after the cool down lap. I would usually get around 45 psi and I take it back down to 40 psi before the tires cool down.
