EDC Eliminators?

I was considering a KW Clubsport Kit and was wondering if I *need* the EDC eliminator kit?

My car DOES have EDC, but obviously it won't work when the KWs go in... so what's does the eliminator do? Just get rid of an error code?

What about the lights on the EDC button? Do those go away?

thanks

I'm pretty sure you can code the malfunction light away.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

It can be coded, Macht Schnell and KW also sell code delete modules.

If you don't use a module you will have an error light on your idrive / dash. It's not a huge deal; more annoying than anything. I lived with it for 6 months. I just put my EDC shocks back on and my error light went off but then it returned. I'm not sure if it's related but the dealer diagnosed it as a module failure.

Ok. So I have the option of buying the simulators OR coding away the EDC.

What about when I go back to stock? Need to recode again?

Yes, simply recode again.
