I just spoke with my dealer today - he said my car should be to them by Tuesday or Wednesday, up here in Northern CA. I think it's a definite possibility that you'll take delivery before Thanksgiving. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but it's hard not to. Fingers crossed!

Hey Guys...I have been lurking this forum because I have a car on the Porgy too and have been obsessively tracking it the last few weeks. Thanks for posting the pics and info...it's been helping me get through the days of waiting... Here's what I am waiting for:

I am hoping so. I hope there is not a long turnaround time between the cars getting off-loaded and put on a truck to go to dealer. My dealer is located in the Thousand Oaks area.

I love that saddle brown leather and congrats on yours!

I would hope so Gene! Mine only took 7 days from landing to delivery and that included trucking from Brunswick GA to New Orleans. You should have something in the driveway to be thankful for...

Edit: Now explaining to the family why you need to put a couple of hundred miles on the car on Thanksgiving day, that may be difficult to explain...

It is not generally open on Saturdays. It's my understanding that under normal conditions they are only open M-F

But yeah, that would be nice

Also - keep in mind, that article was written in 2004. The other one I've seen was 2006. Things have changed in terms of efficiency and speed since then I'm sure.
