Opinions on Advan F7s?
Any opinions on these Advans? They are expensive, but look great IMO. Couldn't find weight data. They don't seem to make the 5x120 18s wider than 8" though.

Those rims are super old. I wanted them way back in the day. Still decent, but if you're going to pay a lot I'd go with something else.

Yeah, I know they've been around for several years. That doesn't matter to me. I like the way they look. I would like to know how much they weigh and how durable they are compared to other forged wheels.

The Advan F7 are brand new wheels from advan. Design is the same as the Advan T7 which were out for years. Yet from what I know it's the first and only forged wheels from Advan. (the F stands for FORGED)
BTW the Advan F7 are made by Rays Engineering, same guys who made Volk. |

These are new wheels from Advan and are forged as m_parade mentioned, Advan RS 19" cast wheels (made by Enkei) weigh 8 kg (17.5 lbs), which is very light for 19" cast wheels, I'm sure these forged wheels weigh less.

One concern is if they are extremely light weight, they might not be all that durable, but that doesn't have to be the case. Do you know anything about how durable they are compared to other forged wheels?

Forged wheels are both stronger and lighter than Cast wheels in general. The quality is there, durability shouldn't be an issue with the F7. Especially when they are made by Rays Engineering. Therefore if you think Volk wheels are strong, the F7 should be about same as well.

I'm considering going with the RS's for track wheels. I think it's a good look.
The F7s also look nice; lucid, are you looking for track or street wheels?

I was once in your shoe before. I thought the F7 were more likely to be "show" rims. So I went with the 18" TE37 instead. They should be here in around 2 weeks. I figure I would need 18" wheels for track in order to put on some R compound tires. Especially if you track a lot, tires aint cheap!
