We had an 08 X5 4.8i. Nice suv but I'd rather drive my M3 with snows as long as it could still move in the snow. I'd consider an X5 35d for my wife. X5M is what I would want to drive.

How about bmw 365's oem 18x8et30 could be had for cheap and you can rotate and don't have to break the bank to get staggered tires.
