Clutch gave out, looking for a new one, NEED HELP!

Yeh my OEM clutch just gave out.

Im looking for a nice aftermarket one.

Looking for the whole kit, possible with flywheel.

If you can post names, and maybe a link to the clutch set, that would be great!

Thanks!!!!

Same here, curious. I would think that a "normally" driven car should have a clutch that will last 100K miles. My 08 has 33K miles now. Clutch is fine, but curious as to when I should start to worry.

I was told that the clutch is not covered because it is a wear and tear item. The clutch was slipping on my 335 and the dealership wasn't going to cover it until they determined that my flywheel was warped. That almost cost me 3k!

That's is not true Sir,if your clutch is slipping, they should replace it.
If your car is bone stock, they will replace your clutch but if they can prove that your car is tuned or modified in any kind, they will deny your case.

Come on man; give us details .
Did you buy the car new?
How many miles on the car?
Typical use of car (% city and highway)
Any inclined driveway, etc. that requires heavy slipping of the clutch every day?
Amount of 'abuse', including # of track days, hard launches, etc.

Please satisfy our curiosity ; we're trying to determine clutch life expectancy here, but with no details, we can't 'extrapolate' its life to our driving habits. Thanks in advance man.

I will give you an answer,I have seen the O.S. Giken that Turner Motorsports sells. I believe it may be for track use though, not sure about that, the only other one I have seen for sale for an E9x M3 is by SPEC Clutches , don't know anything about them personally though. Hope that may have helped.
