I never got to pick this up. On the way to get it with my father in law's truck we got in an accident.

It was perfect before test pipes. With test pipes it's a little too much at certain rpm's.. for me at least...

Hi Everyone: Bimmerpost member Utah_ee has claimed my stock M3 muffler. He reached out to me here via PM and responded promptly to my texts. The part is in perfect shape and if he does the mod to this exhaust, I will want to hear it. I replaced my stock muffler with the MPE, and was initially disappointed as it was very quiet. 2 + years later, the sound has "matured" and is very deep and throaty on the start up with a nice growl on acceleration, so it's a keeper.

PS: I can't believe how difficult it has been to give this part away for free. I advertised it as free on 9/19/2014, almost 14 months ago. One time I transported it to the local UPS Store for shipping to a Bimmerpost member, who then did not want to pay for the shipping, another time took a morning off of work to wait at my house for a different Bimmerpost member to pick it up, and, no show! Plus countless calls and then last minute cancellations. Bear in mind that this part is quite heavy, and carrying it or loading it up for transport is a monumental PITA, so I hope it gets to go to its new home this Friday!
