Metallic Jingling Sound at certain RPM?

Anyone else have a slight metallic jingling sound when shifting around 3.5k rpm?

It sounds like a washer on a bolt that's loose. As the engine revs, the washer resonates and you get this metallic jingling sound.

Possible exhaust/heat shield contact would be my first guess.

That's an idea. It's not a major deal, it's just my OCD that leads me to fix these things.

I completely understand. I am also annoyed by random noises that shouldn't be occurring.

Had that issue twice in the first 7k miles of the car. They never really told me exactly what it was as they said many different things. It was right under the shifter so I assume it was a loose bolt vibrating.

It's the sound of money falling out of your pocket .

Anyway, does your car make a creaking sound too when coming to a stop and accelerating from a stop?

What exhaust are you running? I get that metallic sound only during the cold-start at around 3k RPM.

I have a similar sound that I have narrowed down to coming from the driver side door speaker. The noise stops when I press down on the grill. I have EPS. Ive never asked the dealer to look at it bc I'm worried they'll just make a bigger problem.

A buddy had me looking with him in his car last week for 2 hours and we couldnt narrow it down but it does happen as you described it at a certain RPM from behind the Navi screen.
I will post here once we find the issue.

I had a similar noise on mine and it turned out to be a bolt that had broken apart on the flywheel. It caused scoring on the flywheel and clutch face. Both were replaced under warranty but it was tough getting them to investigate and identify the noise.

Well it is 9F outside today, and sound is gone. The cold eliminates the sound. I've gotta find this.

Btw it's not coming from my speakers.

i had a similar sound that was the crossmember touching the exhaust at certain rpms. diconnected the crossmember bolts and put a washer on the top side of each bolt. probably not what you have if you think its in the dash.
