under $150K CDN. Really?

My guess is over $200k with a little bit options before tax.

Nice, I'm sure the PDK will be amazing of course with the 475hp to boot! But for less money, better steering feel, and a MT, I'd rather get the 997 GT3 variant.

Rear wheel steering? Ought to be interesting. No question this will be a faster car than the 997 GT3 but can wait to hear about how much charisma it will give up.

Unbearable is right - I have had a deposit on the car for almost a year now and its going to be until the end of this year

No, I think it will still be well under $200K before tax. While I am sure you can go nuts with options as is the norm with Porsche, I am guessing 20-25K in options will get you plenty

+1 - it seems that all interesting parts are standard anyway. From press-releases I did not see much interesting in term of options other than front-axle lift.
