First experience with the 1m today and some quick thoughts

Hey guys,
So coming into contact with an old friend of mine from back in middle school, we immediatly broke into discussions about cars and such just as every man should. Not too long into the conversation he tells me that he had just received his valencia 1m a few weeks ago. At that point i was just like as i had never had the opportunity to drive one yet.

Before this, i was extremely upset that M division had decided to drop to a v6 with the turbos as i am an extreme v8 fanatic. I had begun planning on keeping the e92 forever as it was the last of the legendary v8 m3s. This all changed when i stepped in the drivers seat of the 1m.

I had not even come close to thinking that this car was as much fun as i had today. The performance was much more surprising to me (numbers on a paper don't have as much emotion as my foot to the pedal.) I loved the i6 twin turbo so much that i had my friend drive my m3 to my home while i took the extra long way back home down the beach with the 1m. I couldn't believe that i felt reluctant to have to switch back to my m3.

That being said, if M division was capable of doing such a FANTASTIC job with the i6tt, then i absolutely cannot wait to see what the do to the future m4/m3 coupe.

i will come back to this soon to give a much more fuller review of my experiences in the 1m compared to the m3.

You experience is in line with everything I've been hearing about the 1M from other M3 owners. Now I need to find a way to get some seat time in one

Yes I have, when the m3 was living at the service department I had to drive that around.
