I have seen only aFe and K&N. are there any others that are more costly and better?

The E9X M3 already comes with a high perf intake system from factory. Just get a drop in filter and call it a day. The stock one is as good as it's gonna get and it's been proven. Some aftermarket intake systems loose hp instead of gaining.

If you're dead set on an intake get the AFE one.

I have the aFe stage 2 and tbh it works great. I recently reported it lost power, but after a little more tightening and reinstalling it started producing more power. Full write up coming in my thread soon called DYNO!

Dealt with both the aFe and Dinan and both are solid systems. Dinan looks more pleasing to the eye with all that CF but other than that no problems with either system.
