Hey all, I'm in the search for an E92 M3 in the Northeast: NY, NJ, CT, PA (My current location is Long Island). Following are my preferences:

• 6MT
• Mileage: Under 80000 miles
• Budget: $32000
• Closer to stock, the better
• Nice-to-haves: 09-13 model year, white / silverstone / black exterior, recent RB maintenance

Been dormantly searching for a clean reasonably priced E92 M3 for over 6 months, still in search of one. Hoping the patient wait will pay off!

How hard are you looking? If you're passively searching the 6MT cars go pretty quick. If you're only checking in once a month you are probably going to miss them.

If you haven't try setting up alerts on the big car sites (Cargurus/cars/autotrader) and join some of the E9x Facebook groups + marketplace. You're in the range for budget so you just need to get to the god ones before someone else does.

I've been doing all that you've mentioned: I also manually refresh all the pages every day to look for new listings. Since I've not been too aggressive with the radius of search, I havent been seeing too many nice examples. I guess I might have to expand my radius a bit.

I'd consider searching at least 250 Miles, although I had my search national just to see what was out there. I'm on LI and had to drive down to the Philly area to pick my car up, but it was a fairly easy day trip and finding a blue E90 was damn near impossible.

Unpopular opinion but the 09+ M3's have an updated CIC infotainment with a better HD display resolution compared to the low-res ones on the 08. They also got rid of the dedicated DVD drive, so at least to me the centre console looks a bit less busy.

Honestly im seeing a lot more cars pop up for sale, compared to when I was in the market so I would suggest increasing your radius and taking a road trip somewhere
