Subtle Light Blue Window Tinting u see on Benz's

Hey Guys -- what are your thoughts on this? I've read that it's actually a tint that is embedded in the actual glass itself, but it seems there are options out there for very light blue tinting for UV protection. I have a SSII E90 and think it could look pretty cool. Anyone do this, or seen it? I'm not big on typical grey/black window tinting, and the sun doesn't bother me at all...hmmmmm

Seems like a personal preference. It's something different though.

Correct! The glass itself is tinted rather than a film being applied over the glass. I've always liked the tinted glass of Mercedes cars. I'm not a fan of the typical tint available either (..which is why I leave my windows clear, and prefer the OEM rear/side sunshades).

My M3 is the first car I've ever tinted and now I don't know why I never did it before.

I do like the look of the Benz tint a lot. It's a classy touch. But if you ever have to tint a Benz it looks a bit off. My sister drives an ML and I got the fronts tinted 20% to match the rear factory tint and it just looks off. The darkness is the same but the colour isn't.
