hks786, I'm a long term M3 community fan and I surely know to appreciate spy photos of good quality..but..

I'm apalled about the fact that you (or an associate of yours) have photoshopped the Carfreaks.net watermarks away from these pictures and placed an M3Post.com logo on top of the pictures.

These pictures are copyrighted and not in any way affiliated with M3Post.com.

This gives a very bad impression of M3post practices in general. Really bad karma, guys..really bad.

I doubt that a final descision regarding bringing the CSL to the USA has been made regardless of what people that are supposedly 'in the know' say.

They haven't even released the E92 M3 in the USA so they have no idea what the reacion will be, it also be remains to be seen how sales of the CLK63 Black Series will go.

hks786, thanks for fixing this up.

I'm not sure what had happened either but these pictures were replaced with M3Post tags and Carfreaks.net watermarks were cropped away.. Any M3Post admin care to reiterate?

IMO, the decision regarding if the CSL will be part of BMW's biggest market was probably made a long time ago. And, the answer was probably no...

Good to know. Thanks. Didn't know Brembo supplied kits for monster trucks. I hear they are very popular in Europe at the moment.

Latest Gravedigger iteration totally owns the RS4 in the mud.

+1

I started a thread to this effect a while back. It's going to be a fantastic car, but not attainable. Few people on the forums have ever seen one of thse cars, much less driven one. And even if they sold it here, it would probably cost 80k+. There are a few here who shop for cars in that price-range, but the vast majority appear to be people who are splurging a little to begin with to get into the M3. I know I fall into that category. If I were looking at an $80k budget, I would probably be on the porsche forum right now. And if it weren't for the existence M3, I'd likely be looking at cars in the $40k-$50k range like the 335i or G37.

If only some magazine were to test the M3 with rally tires instead of track tires, we would be pleasantly surprised to discover that the M3 can own both the RS4 and the Gravedigger in the mud despite the absence of 36" Brembos.

If it has no back seat, it better be filled with a roll cage, GT3 RS style. I would love to think BMW are aiming for that level of focus.

Doubt it. These kind of expectations will lead to sadness. However, I am sure the E9* CSL will be an awesome car....

Do you guys REALLY think a CSL will finally make it to the US? I haven't seen any here...

Any price estimations or thoughts of what the power will be? ?

There was another CSL thread in the main forum.

Like I said over there, WAY to early to know any of that. So your guess is as good as any.

yes i am comparing a ford to a M3 - this "ford" keeps up with the 911 gt3 rs m8 so dont under-estiamte it, can a M3 - well it was compared to a porsche on TOPGEAR, and that wasnt a gt3 rs so it may not be as good

also, it could well be a alpine version - whats to say it isnt - who do u think u r - some person who thinks he knows everything 2 do with cars - ive met a few like u - all loosers....unlucky m8
