Larry you are seriously on a mission . Looks good , the quality is top topnotch , I was gonna leather out my dash but I found out that the good glue became illegal due to it's chemicals and my installer was weary on using the available alternatives , so I'm at a stand point =\ but it looks good enjoy !

No offense but it's a trainwreck. Pastel green calipers on one side and pastel blue on the other? The silver trim clashes with the rest of the interior. the stitching looks orange, it doesn't match the leather - perhaps that's just the camera? The bulldog floor mats, seriously? And the M stripes on the door trim? It's way too random and thrown together.

That said the actual quality of the interior work w/ the alcantara looks well done. I just don't care for the randomness of it all.

As much as I like alcantara, I hate it for certain areas. The roof lining and partial seats are ok. The dash is too overboard.

Please don't take this the wrong way. Just trying to point somethings out. It kinda reminds me of the 1960's or 70's with the thick carpeted dash and fuzzy dice.

I like the general idea. In photos, it looks a bit fury. I was honestly thinking "pimp" when I saw it but not cheesy pimp; cool pimp like Snoop. However, I will reserve judgement. If your exterior is a good way to evaluate your tastes, then I assume it looks amazing in person.

I think you went a bit overboard on the interior - too many colors clash in there as a few have said but hey as long as you like it.

I do like the floormats

Do you have 2 different color Brembo's on opposite sides of the car? I really like the Green but again your wheels caps have the OEM BMW color which clash. You should change the blue portions of the badge to green ~ now that would look more uniform.

Can you get me Top Stitches email. I want a price on having a steering wheel covered/stiched. Thanks.

We carbon fiber steering wheels so I need a high quality upholster to do the wheels.

Thanks for looking and your comments. I am happy and that is all that matters. For what it is worth everyone that has seen the car in person has liked it better than in the pictures. Maybe it is my poor point and shoot camera.

Oh and most that see my car in person don't even recognize that the wheels and calipers are different on each side. It is only in back to back pictures that you can easily see the two sides. Keep in mind that you can only ever see two wheels at a time.

If OP thought it was going to be black but turned out purplish black, I'd be pissed too .
Thanks for looking and your comments. The color is not purple, but the point and shoot camera appeared to be a sort of purple color. I had CF leather interior and had it replaced before I took delivery of the car with black CF from BMW Performance. I wanted to do something different as there are several out there with back CF. Thanks for noticing the craftsmanship though!

Thanks! I just got sick of the "plain jane" interior. I spend most of my time inside the car, so I wanted it to be something special and unique.

Thanks! Well your interior was the clincher for me as far as the headliner and pillars. I thought about doing something else and the dash came to mind. I love it though. If you see it in person it looks much better than the pics. I need to score a DSLR. Ha!

Thanks for looking and your comments. For your information the colors of the calipers are from Lamborghini and are also metallic. I was sick of seeing the same old colors for the BBK's; black, red, yellow, etc. I wanted to be unique and I picked colors that I think go well with the BW color of the car IMO. I think the matte silver CF dash contrasts well as opposed to clashes, but that is my opinion. There is just so much of the same thing out there that most are used to it. If something is different it automatically does not look good. We all love our cars and mod them our own way. As long as you are happy that is all that matters.

The camera I used is just a point and shoot. I also used the flash to show more of the detail, but I think the colors came out whack. If seen in person it looks much better IMO. I need to score a DSLR.

Thanks for looking and comments. I understand that some may not like it, but I love how it turned out. I do love the pic! Ha! Where do you pick up those fuzzy dice anyway?

Thanks! I do believe the pictures do not do it justice. Just as my exterior pictures do not capture the amazing paint color the interior shots do not do it justice either. I hope you can see it in person someday and judge yourself.

Thanks! I thought about red but thought that would just have been too much. I considered the dash in red leather to match the seats, but thought that would have been too much. Maybe someone else will try that.

Thanks for looking and your comments. I thought about matching the roundels on the wheels, but thought that may look cheesy. As much as I have modded the entire car, I do like the stock color of the roundels. I think there are two kinds of people out there, people that change the roundel color and those that would never change the roundel color.

I love how the mats turned out too! Keep in mind they can do any logo or text you want.

Thanks to all for looking and commenting. I welcome all comments good, bad or indifferent. We all love our cars and love to make them our own. Some choose to daydream what it would be like while others take a risk and make it happen. Put your imagination to work and see what you can come up with!

It's not any one thing that I really didn't feel (well except maybe the floormats, I assume you went to UGA), it's the whole combination. IMO if you stick to a single theme it will improve the whole flow of things. Like choose either just the green or the blue calipers. But like you say it is your car and of course you should do what you like.

I give you props Larry for taking all the positive and negative criticism in stride. Nice attitude!

As far as the color digital cameras want to make black a midtone or grey color. The flash makes it worse. If you have exposure compensation you can take care of this or just shoot in manual mode. You need to under expose basically a largely black scene to accurately reproduce black. The same thing happens with white but just the opposite.

Why purple?I think it would've looked great if the alcantara was black to match the carpet and with titanium shadow trim.I like the floor mats tho.
