I'm looking forward to some of your future modifications.

E90 M3 + OEM 18s = best combination I went the same route.

Figured; thanks for confirming. I think they are going to rock. Those are the pads Tiff used when he beat the crap out of the m3 in his fifth gear review and he raved about them.

So apparently the E90 M3 was being used as ring taxi they used the same brake setup so if that's the case they must be reasonable!

On a slight aside and I'm not sure why this is the case, since replacing the pads/rotors the brake pedal is a bit more depressed than it was before, so heel and toe has been easier.

Jon - looks like they do the shadow chrome tips for the E90 as well - check out this individual E90 on pistonheads with the black factory tips, you'll just need to get the part no!

Good vote of confidence there for sure!

Odd. Are the pads thinner than stock? Brake pedal height shouldn't change unless the amount of fluid in the system has changed or the thickness of the pads....unless I'm missing something.

Know what you mean about heel toe - I wish the brake pedal were a touch lower...although when you are really hammering the brake, the height is pretty close to the accelerator.

I like the seat, but I think you do have to do them in pairs.

Seems like an odd combo with the seat and OEM 18's.

Thanks guys. Indeed Performance exhaust may well be around the corner! Would like to get the Performance handbrake but get rid of the silver top part as well as get the stock 6MT shift and have it re-wrapped in Alcantara (GT3 style).

Interesting find Steve, maybe I should give them a call and ask. Did you end up getting the Performance exhaust late last year?

I know what you mean aesthetically but from a functional standpoint it works just fine. Nearly all spirited drives, trackdays etc are with myself only in the car.

OEM 219Ms are great! May not be the best looking wheel out there but given a choice I'd hit up some 18" TE37s, Advan TCIII or APEX ARC8s

Unfortunately that was the first side I was trying it on and attempted various ways of prying the gill off. After learning my lessons the other side was a breeze and took about 5 min!

Decided against it mate - would have loved to have got it but i will be trading in the M3 in October and couldnt justify the outlay for less than a year of use.

If it bothers you, it can probably be minimised or almost eliminated with a wet sand. A simple polish may diminish it enough that you don't even notice it.

Fair enough, I would have had to take it off your hands in Oct had you gone through with it :P

Well with the various other blemishes on the front bumper and rear I just let it be. At some point next year will get a full detail and get all the imperfections corrected

I hear yah. Whole front of my car is chipped up. But I wouldn't trade the 40k miles of fun for a pristine finish.
