tv problem :help:

so i just bought the samsung LN T4053H 40' and im not new to lcd tvs but im having a problem with this one i just put dish on it and for some reason the picture on tv is like half the size but when i go to menu i see wide fix but i cant get to it like it wont highlight.......anyone have any idea what to do?

If you have black bars on the left and right to make it 4:3 it is due to the input you are using. I'm guessing you're using HDMI or DVI. Some tv's will allow you to "zoom" or stretch it but it is just going to make it look worse and loose some picture on the sides. On the non-hd signals you're just gonna have to learn to love the bars
