involved in fender bender, no contact info exchanged

hello i was driving today and barely moving maybe 2-3mph as was the person in front of me. i looked down for a second and lightly tapped his rear bumper. we both got out of our cars and i said I was very sorry and he said it doesnt look to bad its alright and took a picture on his cell phone of his bumper. and then he got back in his car and left. he didnt get my licence plate or any contact info. do i have anything to worry about? thanks

his car had a scratch on the rear bumper. and he took a picture of it and i don't know why. he didn't take a picture of my car or license plate or get any information.

i dont think he even looked at them. he said its alright it doesnt look to bad. which lead me to believe he didnt really care. but he took the picture of it which is what is concerning me.

If he only has a picture of the damage and does not have your info, you have nothing to worry about.

theoretically though if he actually did write my plate down and then tried to go after me how could he prove i was even involved in the accident if i didnt give him my information? he could have just gone out and written down a random persons plate.

thank you very much. obviously I would assume the responsibility as it is the right thing to do but I dont see how he could even prove anything with just a licence plate number. and your sure about this?

No, I'm not sure about it. I wasn't there and I have no idea what really happened. I'm basing my opinion on what you've said. I would have no way of knowing what this guy will or won't do but it's likely he will do nothing. I'm going to punch out of this thread now because you're borderline trolling at this point.
