Also, didn't know you were in DC Metro area...a bunch of owners here. Would have loved to check out the Atlantis Blue (or Atlantic Blue) whichever one you took delivery on, I've never seen either in person. |

An E90, S65-equipped M3 sedan will be the eventual successor to my 335i, so the era lives on in my eyes! I made the decision a long time ago to progress in a linear fashion through car ownership; I started with an E90 330i, graduated to an E90 335i, and will finish my initial BMW push with an E90 M3. Pretty excited, to say the least. I've only test-driven an M3, but I feel confident in saying: long live the S65.

Thats not the debate. its more of the next engine is going main stream. fuel, torque, smaller with turbo. losing the n/a etc. nothing really to special, everyone is going it or thinking about doing it (smaller engines with FI). although yes cars like the corvette are going to keep v8s for sometime.

The feel and sound of an S65 V8 is the sole reason I've already decided to pick up an E90 M3 sedan after my 335.
