Would you guys wrap a white E90 m3 to Speed Yellow?

Although I love white cars, my favorite color is actually yellow ~ with that said, I realized I have too many white cars so thinking of wrapping my car in speed yellow.

The whole reason I even am thinking of doing this is because my friend is wrapping his red M-roadster to White Satin Pearl so gave me something to think about....

Would you guys do it?

how good is the color match, and will it be matte finish?

FWIW, IMO, the White Satin Pearl doesn't look too good in person... I've seen a few non-black/gray satin pearl wraps, I'm not sure if I'm a fan.

While the yellow could look cool, you will definitely stick out worse than a sore thumb. If you drive your car like most of us do, thats probably not a good thing, ie cop magnet. Sounds cool though.

I plan on getting a 997.1 Turbo in Speed Yellow one day, it's my favorite Porsche color.

Having said that, I've always been kind of skeptic about gloss wrap. I've seen samples and they just look too plastic. Having said that, there are Speed Yellow E92's on the forum. Not 100% sure it'd work on an E90 though.

I would love to see LSB on an E90. That would be fantastic.

Do these wraps damage the original paint at all? Or could they serve as a protective cover if one day you decide to take them off?

quality wraps do not damage the paint at all and serve as protection to the paint while it's on there.

Please just make sure you use high-quality wrap. Highly recommend 3M 1080 scotch print.

Here's all the color options available:

Great color! As for wrap, I guess it depends upon quality of manufacture and installation.

Are there others? I've seen pictures of maybe 4 other cars worldwide. One was an E93 for sale in AZ (?), one was an E90 in Europe, and one was an E92 somewhere I don't recall.

Yours was actually the one I had in mind. Haven't seen any updates on it in a while though. Anything new?

How would a complete paint job cost ? Is it that much more ?

From a professional in the field :
"Time is the enemy of paint, and it is also the enemy of wraps. Most wraps create little paint damage when removed within a year, but the longer the wrap is on, the greater chance of paint damage.
Also, using less aggressive wrap vinyls that have more air-egress and slideability properties have been shown to be less damaging to the base-paint.
It is absolutely critical to only use a wrap vinyl that has a manufacturer-warranted "removable" adhesive, so please check with your salesperson.
A less prepped or short-term wrap (i.e. one installed without using adhesive promoters) is usually easier to remove without base-paint damage.
wrapping can indeed create base-paint damage, but it's more than worth the risk and/or cost of the repair. There are thousands and thousands of wraps removed every year with no base-paint damage at all!"

Is that your car?

I like how the mirrors are left in black ~ great color scheme but I'm afraid when the doors are open you can see the original white color. I'm guessing when you open the hood or trunk it will definitely show?
