I have the RPi GT full race and hate it... should I go akra?

As the states I have the Full RPi GT Race and hate it, its too loud for a street car. I have removed the x pipe. And probably removing the axle back and selling it next week.

But today, a buddy of mine offered me his Akra Slip on for a decent price of $2300 dollars.

Will the Akra and RPi pipe sound good together?
Will they produce good numbers?

I want a quiet exhaust for street use, but I am power hungry and need the power when I get on the car at the track.

If this thread is a repeat, I'm sorry, I swear I tried searching couldn't find the combo of the two different brands.

Cheers,
Bisan

Why did you get the RPI GT, you should get the full GTM instead. It removes the rasp noise.

If you want power, then you have to go catless but the exhaust noise will be loud. It's hard to balance those two. If you go Akra axle back with RPI x-pipe, the sound will still be really loud.

That ringing sound is the main reason they revised it. It really sounded like shit. The GTM on the other hand sounds loud and mean...really mean.

if you want power and a DD set-up ("quiet")...throw the stock back on and just get an xpipe...most hp gains are frlom the mids and fronts..not the mufflers...

I would jump at the Akra...if you don't like it, you could resell for a profit here.
