It is always eventually possible to delimit the car I am just wondering when 170 is necessary instead of 155.

One guy took it 205 MPH, but the speedometer is off by some up there, so it was actually in the 190's that he took it to.

Or a shade over 400 hp with a low total parasitic loss, a decent Cd and frontal area and perhaps a slight grade. See discussion and pics of an M3 at 330 km/hr indicated. here. Given speedo error that is surely over 190 mph actual.

You're right about the M3. The Audi NEEDS 500 Hp to do that with 3 differentials, an automatic, 4200 lbs, and at least 6 heat exchangers in the front. Makes me appreciate the BMW engineering that much more.

This post made me want to cry because the word that Audi and Quattro sucks is getting out!

I don't understand. Are you saying Audi and Quattro suck? Audi is the answer to a different question. That's all. They're not BMWs and they don't try to be. I think they're great cars. It's my personal opinion that the A8 is one of the finest automobiles available.

I am saying Quattros suck power from any good engine that Audi may make. The RS4 is slowest 400 hp car that I have ever seen.

Audi's dogmatic adherence to Quattro at the expense of building a proper RWD car is why Audi sucks.

They have good technical capability but choose to let dogma guide their roadmap for cars.

An A8 is nice but wouldn't you take a 7 series? or a CLS?

Why not? You raised the 3 differential issue / weight yourself?

WAFI = Wallis and Futuna Islands?

Nice to see you are back on form, beating the 'I hate Audi stick'.

Does the whole world revolve around acceleration or is it solely your world. You state that the Audi RS5 is the slowest 400hp car, maybe you need to widen your knowledge of 400hp cars because I can think of quite a few which are slower, and in any case in quite a few tests where it has been the within a couple of tenths of the M3 up to the 150mph. Maybe that is a lot in your book, just not mine.

Seriously man, you need to deal with your issues against Audi, it's not healthy.

P.S.

Of all the Audis on sale, the A8 is the one I would put comfortably ahead of the competition.

Keep your eyes open. All of the tuners will have reprogrammers out soon enough to do this. Turner comes to mind first. Active Autowerks is currently working on one.
