AC Schnitzer SSK for E9x M3?

Does anybody know if AC Schnitzer is going to make an SSK for the E9x M3? I had the AC Schnitzer SSK in my old E36 M3 and it was perfect. Thanks.

On my E36 M3, I had a UUC SSK before upgrading to the ACS and given the bad experiences I had with the UUC, I don't want to go down that road again with my e90.

I just wanted to see if anybody knows if ACS will be coming out with one. I don't want this thread to turn into an "SSK Religion" thread. I just want information. Thanks.

Have you got a link to the UUC thread?

Dave

The one where you tell us about your bad experiences with UUC. If there's no thread, then, what went wrong?

I never wrote a thread about it. There might be some tidbits here and there about it on bf.c where I gave my opinion on SSK threads dealing with RE vs UUC vs ACS vs Modified OEM, etc. Long story short, I purchased a UUC SSK for my E36 back in the late 90s and well, it was just a modified OEM one with a UUC sticker on it. When comparing it to the OEM one, it seemed like it was just bent in certain locations. I installed it and I did not like it. I ended up getting a used ACS SSK complete with replacement beefier carrier/shift knob and it was an awesome setup. I mean, if something was designed correctly, why were there so many different versions of the UUC SSK over the years? There was only 1 version of the ACS. I was able to try the multiple versions of the UUC in other M3s, but I still liked the ACS the best.

Again, I just want information. I don't want this thread to turn into an SSK war. Thanks.

Thanks rbk. The current UUC SSK is clearly pictured on their site and is not merely a modded stock unit. Still, I understand, even after all these years, the desire not to do business with a vendor that did not perform well for you in the past.
