For those who placed an order (Priority 1) after August 1st

My order went in around August 4. It's been painful with the 1 month off at the factory. I'm just dying for the car to get scheduled for production. Anyone else who ordered in August have a production date yet? It's even more painful since I sold my 135i over a month ago. Just knowing someone who ordered right before me has been scheduled would ease the pain a bit.

I ordered an E90 M on July 28. The dealer had a production slot available. I am status 112. Which like you means scheduled for production with no date confirmed. The dealer swears the car will be here by the end of October but I am not holding my breath. My concern is I have $1000 ultimate drive money which expires Sept 30. The dealer says he can still get that. If he doesn't I will walk away.

Years ago, I had a 330xi built in September and received by the end of October...bet they can still keep the same schedule.

My order was placed on July 24th with a scheduled completion date of September 6th. August sucks!

Ultimate Drive coupons have been extended through 10/31. BMW is not publicizing yet but if you cal the 800 number on the coupon you received, they will confirm for you. I just ordered this week and was told 6 to 8 weeks.

Good news on the coupon. I have no problem waiting the 6-8 weeks then.

I ordered early August. Talked to my dealer yesterday and he said it was scheduled to built during week 35 (this week?), but neither the website or 800 number is confirming the date yet.

I'm really hoping it will be delivered by the end of October.

BMW held what they called the Ultimate Driving Event to compare the new F10 with other cars. If you went to the event and did the test drive you got a coupon for $1,000 off a new BMW. They were set to expire Sept 30 but have now been extended. No other way to get one if you did not drive the F10 at the UDE...

I did receive an invite to the the event but could not go as I was traveling for work. Not sure how they sent out invites but as the owner of a 2008 550 coming off lease in Oct, BWW had my name and sent me an invite. They moved around the country hitting various dealers though I believe it is over, so no way to get one of the coupons now...

I thought I read another thread about some parts on backorder? I wonder if that has something to do with the delay?

I think the first post-August production date my CA had available was in mid-September, though I went with mid-October because I won't have time to do a PCD until December

I ordered on August 16th and I'm sitting in status 112 (vehicle scheduled for production with no production date) ALTHOUGH I talked to my CA on Friday and I'm a week 37 build. I was pushed back from week 36 due to the combox parts delay. He said I SHOULD be getting a VIN# by week's end. Let's see what happens!

That's good to hear. I guess I need to take a trip to my dealer to find out my build week. Assuming it's right around yours.

Congrats!

I'm still in "scheduled for production with no confirmed production date yet" limbo.

Congrats RadiantM3!! Won't be long now though it sure feels that way. My car is complete and headed to the port. Hopefully I'm not waiting too long for the boat to leave port...
