I'll post some pics. I epoxied mine. Had to clean and then acid etch the floor in order to do it. Really a tough job that takes several days. It has held up well, but it is slippery as hell when wet. Wish I had put sand on the epoxy in some parts. I share the other posters question about using a floor jack on the tiles. Doubt they could handle the pressure, but it would be great if they would work. Tiling my 1 car garage would probably be $1 k, but would be better than the epoxy.

Indeed the Sunday car is in there! With a 2010 GT3RS and a TT as regular drives, I'd like to know what's under the covers! With the M3, the Vette and the GT-R, seems like a lot of overlap in daily drivers! Friend of mine also did lifts in his garage, really a great solution. Enjoy!

Thank you sir! I never drive the M3 in rain or snow, so that helps keep it looking good!

My garage is rather plain at the moment this thread has given me more inspiration to beautify the place ... will be a nice spring project ... I'll report then what I did
Meanwhile there will always be room to park my toy and our DD in comfort ... yesterday was the first day of winter temperature was 8 C (46.4 F) great day to wash the car. Being a former Albertan this was an ideal day to wash both cars ... some of the neighbours strolling by all bundled up must have thought I am nuts ... Just changed to my winter wheel set ... need to add some spacers to make it look a bit better (wheels are 18" x 8" with 40 Offset). Have to install the right spacers for them.

my work in progress garage
Full shot with the premier garage floor
work area (not much room but made do) also the fridge was free so those aren't my stickers, and I haven't spent the time to take them off custom lighting so I can work on my car in the dark, standard garage lighting is horrible custom hangers by premier garage, have two but you can only see the one, works great for all my stock parts, all the others look great too, thought I would share |

Beautiful garages posted here - I read this entire thread with interest as I have always been a car guy and after the initial excitement of buying a car wears off - you realize the house is the most fun thing to modify. (Call it the natural course of aging as I spend a lot of time watching HGTV for ideas)
Anyways living out here on the west coast has one drawback and that is real estate out here is VERY expensive. Just owning a house with a garage and driveway is pricey out here so I had to settle for a smaller place. I grew up in the midwest where everyone has 2-3 acre lots and huge homes so this was a big change for me. So my first garage was in a townhouse I purchased with my brother - this is ironically still my favorite garage because you can park a total of 5 cars (3 in the garage + 2 in driveway) which is very unusual for a townhouse community! Yes the garage was carpeted so we used it to hang out and work on cars with my buddies quite often late into the night in my younger days. A few years passed and my brother got married so I moved out and bought a normal house with a 2-car garage - it was smaller for sure and not my favorite but at least I had my own driveway and no HOA people to tell me what I could not do. I have since outgrew the 2-car garage so we added a new garage for more cars. The plan is to get the garage flooring finished later this year, add more cabinets and probably a nice LED TV to make this a nice man-cave when I need to get away

We recently finished adding a garage to the side of our house. We used to have an M5 and an M6 and had to park them in the gravel driveway next to it.
Here are some before and after shots with then the new M3 in there now replacing the M6. I need to get something for the walls as it's a little dull. Looking at the other garages in this thread has given me some ideas. Thanks all for sharing! |

We needed something for all seasons and a little bigger so we ditched the M5 for a Range Rover. In hindsight, I loved that car and felt it was hands down better than the M6, I wish we had kept it instead. The M3 is also better than an M6 IMHO and I am loving it.
