New E92 M3 Owner

New 2013 BMW E92 M3 owner here.
Any suggestions, recommendations, and/or what should I do with this piece of legend of a car please don't hesitate to reply.

After many consideration and research, I decided to buy my Dream SPG M3.
I have only own the car for little over a month.
I was going to make it my daily driver but decided to use my parents extra/unused corolla instead and keep the M3 as weekender car (lucky me, oh and the 17mpg factor LOL).

I got the car out the dealer for $45000 (I think that it's a great deal, let me know if you think otherwise, and why?).
It's a 2013 E92 M3 SPG DCT (everything stock), only 12k miles, garage queen by previous owner, super mint car (interior and exterior).
I bought the extended warranty because well the car warranty is over so I bought 5/60K miles bumper to bumper (I think that's also a good idea, since the bearing issues and all, just to cover my ass.)

PS: one wise M3 owner told me once, "keep the car stock" because it will be a collectors item.

That’s a great buy OP! Definitely a keeper and if you mod, make sure make it tastefully or OE+ that will help keep the value of the car. Gluck and hope to see updates on your journey with the car.

You can start with a few pics. Do not tune/mod other than OEM. Shit would look atrocious on this classy car

Does the 45K include the warranty or was that extra?

Wow, 8K for the warranty? Is't that a bit much?

That better cover maintenance too!

For 5 yrs/60K, not all that surprising. My 2 yr/24K warranty was about $3K through USAA.

I don't think is that expensive considering that they will cover all the main problems that E92 will most likely have. Especially by the time the extended warranty hit 5 yrs this car will be 10yrs old.
I planed to keep the maintenance up to the standard and really taking care of this car. Plus, I want to have the peace of mind that if anything break down, I have my warranty to cover it.

Killer example of an M3, that mileage is unreal. Congrats.

$8k for a warranty is absolutely wild but hey, you will sleep well at night.

Great car, just keep it stock, a lot of guys here modify these cars but im one of the few against it as the gains/cost just isnt worth it on a german car.

I payed a tad high for my car when i bought it but it was a great example such as yours and that alone justifys the cost especially if we plan to keep them stock and not abuse them.

Great buy! Looks like a minter.

I'd definitely do the exhaust, the stock box is very quiet. MPE or Corsa would be my pick.

Cars that haven't been excessively modded will probably hold their value better, but most common stuff is easily reversible. I.e. X-Pipe, grills, reflectors, exhaust etc. Given you are down $8K on a warranty, I would assume you bought it to enjoy rather than worry about future value because it isn't going up.

Thanks for the advice. I'm planning to drive this M3 for fun but at the same time want to keep them for a long time.

I'm really really debating about the exhaust and that's probable the only mods i will do. I like to keep all of the OEM stuff on the car.
Oh yeah, i paid the warranty so that I can still have fun with the car but at the same time i want to keep it for long and not have to worry about any headache that comes with the german car.

I've always wanted this SPG M3. Did a lot of research on it and things that I want with the car including CFR, DCT, drive, SPG, and stock low milage (it's super rare to find one like this, this car is basically new).

Oh and ever since i saw this music video on YouTube, i told myself to get one before i turn 30 but have to be a mint type of car with less than 15k miles on them and long behold this baby is there for sale and I just couldn't pass it off.

Nice pick up OP. Hefty price but certainly a nice clean low miles example. it looks you already have some carbon fiber front splitters. so back ones would be good too and may trunk lip all cf. and yes, you need an exhaust. Dinan is close to stock or MBE too. Good luck and enjoy
