I recommend the F8X M series. Who the hell would want to drive that spectacular POS??? Instant fcuking low mileage barn find right there! Best to check for, and hope, for some rodent damage! Chewing up the fake exhaust sound wires is a helluva good start! Good day |

My friend here in CLT has DCT LRP, pictured here with my 17 ZCP DCT. He daily drives a 16F80M 6MT. His 16 parked next to my truck at the airport. Maybe if I introduce you two he can sway u to the dark side. |

For a car this fun to drive, I can't imagine having one stashed away as a 'collector' with some hope of making 'significant' $ in the future or handing it down for the next generation to probably sell it or trash it. That being said, it's still a phenomenal time to buy an E9x and take good care of it and you'll always be able to sell it, potentially higher than purchased one day given the way the new M3s are shaping up.... the G looks like shit IMO. The only way I would buy and turn one of these into a garage queen is if I had one as a DD, and a second Duplicate as a low mileage backup that's preserved away just in case something happens to the first.

future collectable?? could be in a couple decades, but atm not really. some collectors have started looking into e9x platforms but very specific specs. factory stripper zcp e92 with no nav, no edc, cloth seat, cf roof and 6 speed being one of them. e90s especially lcis in general are doing better than e92 and e93s, lower production numbers, especially with a 6 speed and no sunroof, although that does not make much sense as you think for a heavier e90 model, you'd want a dct and that sunroof won't hurt much for a family saloon, but to each it's own. i do not think out of the mill spec'd e9x m3s will be any collectable, about 60,000 of them produced in the 7 years span.
