As far as I know, the only wear and tear item that is excluded are the tires. As long as the parts/fluids that needs replacement is within an "expected" maintainence interval, it will be replaced for free. For brakes, this usually translates to something like 20k to 25k I think. That's pretty much what iDrive starts out with. For engine oil, it is 15k. I am not aware of any numbers associated with the clutch, but I suspect that they would do it once if it has more than 40k on it, but it would probably require some arguing, sweet talking, etc.
