Powder coat OEM 19s on Jerez e90
I am thinking about powder coating my factory 19s on my Jerez e90 a textured matte black. Does anyone think this would look good (black car, black interior, black rims)?

It looks pretty good, but only if you black out the rest. Jet black and jerez black look good w/ the stock 19's, and even better when the front/side grills are left chrome, just my opinion.

I've got all the matte black accessories, plus my rear exhaust will be black. And I've actually been thinking of getting my 18's painted black also.

Thanks for the replies guys. The car is going in next week, decided on the textured black rims after seeing some textured HREs at the shop (they were very cool). Going with a black chrome treatment on the grills instead of a matte finish. Will post some pics when its done in a week or so.

I was going to do powder coat my stock 19's however they had some minor curb rash...the cost of fixing the curb rash, power coating, and remounting the tires I figured I might as well just invest in the 710's.

Got my rims back!
Finally got my car back...it took a while (over a week) but the textured powder coating on the OEM 19s look great, and a heck of a lot cheaper than getting a new whole new set of rims. I also had the rear tail lamps tinted and put on a matte black grill and side gills. I think a semi-gloss on the rims would look as well. Black rims against jet black probably looks better than against jerez, but whatever. Next week am installing some spacers for a more aggressive look at that should do it. I would totally recommending powder coating OEMs, the original finish was just way too shiny for my tastes.

Is black the only option for powdercoating or can you get other colors (e.g., gunmetal)?

I'm thinking about doing this on Apline White. I'd probably go with fully matte black. What do you guys think? My other option is black HRE P40s. This route would be a lot cheaper, needless to say.
