Damn, sorry I missed it. I'm suffering from the too many home improvements (read: don't want to be buying tires this summer). Looks like you guys had a blast. Gladius slicing it up as 29B. James is that you as 2B? Man, I wish I was there.

So, I have to ask - which do you like better High Plains or Pueblo? (I haven't been to HPR, yet).

Nice pics, seems like a good group of cars. Must have been windy as hell out there last weekend. Let me know if any of you are considering a track day or two at some point this summer. Would be nice to get a few M's out there.

Yeah, 29B on Saturday and 29A on Sunday. HPR is by far a more fun track. More elevation changes, and some fun fast corners.

Here's an edited vid over both days:

I am talking with some guys at work about doing a lapping day out there at the end of July...16th or 23rd I think...I will post back here when I know more.

Do you have a version with the natural background sound or is it all just wind noise? Cool to see the different views.

It's pretty hard to hear because the cam is inside a watertight case and there is a little wind noise. That said I will upload two vids (one where the cam is mounted on front and one where it's on the rear) and send you a link.

Looks like a fantastic track.

Slightly OT, I'll be there in August for the PCA races and curious where most people stay, in Byers or drive in from Denver? Do you have any restaurant or food suggestions near by? Thanks, I'm showing up blind from Texas.

Gladius, I'll be out Saturday... for Porche Ladies Day. I was out a couple of Friday's ago for an afternoon session and may have seen you heading back into town as I was heading out there? Nestled in between a Bentley & some other supercar... Anyhow. The heat was wicked (100 air-temp, who knows what the track temp was). Made me wish I had r-comps - lots of juddering through corners after 5-6 laps every session. Hope this weekend is a bit coooler!

consolidated - I would recommend staying in Denver and driving in. Byers is teeny-tiny and the track is in the middle of farmville. They named this past weekend's LeMons race "BFE" for a a good reason. To be honest, I have no idea where people stay when they visit since I'm local - doesn't mean we can't help you find some safer spots to call home for the weekend though. How long are you here for, what's your track schedule like (vs free time), what kind of non-track stuff do you like to do, food you like to eat, etc? PM me if you want.

-cheers!

Well, I guess it's time to get some new tires

And that's one of the fronts!

Brave soldier died for a good cause.

Thanks for the offer Gladius, we found a company who will rent and set up RVs on site to save us the drive from Denver each day. We have a group of 18 people making the drive from Texas with trailers...I know how much Coloradans love Texans.
