RdSport RS46 Stroker DynoJet results
Here is a Dyno of my RS46. Dyno was performed about a week ago using SAE corrections on a DynoJet, 91 oct used (420WHP). The highest reading (431WHP) was done using a mix of 91oct and 100oct that was equivalent to 96oct. I didn't have a chance to put it up earlier. There is a video of the dyno being performed as well, but I'm waiting for RdSport to email it to me. As PencilGeek metioned in his project thread, ECU tunning is still to be completed, along with other things.

Thanks!
Can't wait to see how a tune addresses the nasty torque dip you guys are getting.......

At least your graph continues to climb until redline ..... The octane must have helped. Are you running catless ro HF cats ?

Yeah. I will re-dyno it in FL with 93 oct at sea level with SAE. The run in blue is 91 only. The run in red is 96 equivalent. Difference was not much. Just a bit more power and torque. Im sure with straight 100 after the ECU has adapted, the gains will be nice. It has 200 cel cats, for now. Once the car gets to FL, most likely will run catless since we dont have emissions tests. If you mixed 50/50 100 octane and 91 octane it should yield 95.5 octane, but donīt think that is enough of an octane boost to get you much. Plus, you probably have to run it for a while before the engine readjusts to that fuel, I donīt think is a matter of a few minutes. In any event, you results are consistent with what PG has gotten and we should easily be able to extract 535bhp or so. Not too shabby in my book. lol!! Congrats.

Interesting the same dip in torque between 2500-4000RPM exists on this RS46 as well - definitely looks like tuning though given how rich it is running at that point...that aside, the RS46 is definitely a monster though! |
