model change
Has anyone picked one model M3 and now wished they picked a different one?
I decided on the E90 M3 because I thought it was a little more user friendly seeing that I have a family. I really don't shuttle the kids around in my car as much as I thought I would have. Our Yukon seems to be what we use as a family, so I've been thinking that I would really like to trade my sedan in for a coupe. I financed with 2k down and .90% for 60mths in Oct. How long do you think I will be upside down before able to trade in? |

I wanted the convertible, but I didn't want to be selfish. Now that I've had the vehicle almost 6mths I do believe the convertible would have been fine.

I traded a 335i coupe for and e90 M3. I really wanted the coupe but I've grown to love the ease of the 4 doors. A lot of people think it is an M5. Just my two cents.

Like others said, just keep it. I have the coupe and there are days that I wish I had the convenience of a sedan. Great car man.... plus after a while, you won't have that buyer's remorse that some people feel. It happens on different levels... cost, color, practicality, etc. etc.

For the price, you got to be 101% sure thats the one for you. I would strongly advise to have it properly detailed, get a set of new rims and tires, maybe an exhaust and call it a day. DONT try to dump the car now, the current car market will kill you. My nickel...

I was about to say "don't we all..." but then I thought that the F430 would be a disaster as a daily driver
Good luck to the OP finding a trade, if not, like the others said, its still an ///M!

Edmunds says an 08 6MT is worth about $54,000. An 08 6MT fairly loaded and purchased in May would have cost around $70K. With your financing that car would have about $54K left after about a year. Maybe 7-10 more months to answer your questions? |

Keep it ... unless money is no object ...

However, that being said ... there is something for top-down motoring ... a 'vert would really nice if you don't have to cart around car-seats ... and just shove the friends you don't mind losing in the back. Here's my take .. keep the sedan or go 'vert ... jumping to a coupe is just not worth it (unless you hate the '08 tail lights that much ... in '09 .. no way ... '09 sedan M3 rear is to die for ... esp. in JB) as they both have the same nose. .. regardless you have an //M .. you should be happy .. any which way you go. |
