The 1M is going to retain it's value like no other BMW before it because of it's limited supply. Do not accept any less than MSRP for the car. In fact, I truly think you should have no problem selling it 1k or 2k above MSRP. Good luck with your sale!!

Btw, I saw a Monte Carlo M5 going north on the 404 on Monday, no idea why it was already on the street, mostly likely BMW Canada's. Looks amazing!

I think there is a new one FS at Toronto BMW, I was there 2 weeks ago. Not sure if it's still there though.
OP, might be useful if you can find out somehow what it sold for. It was also VO.

Actually, I was at BMW Toronto this morning. The orange 1M they have is not for sale, it is the dealership principal's car.

On a similar note, they have a really nicely spec'ed space grey e92 m3 with competition package for sale right now.

My dealer in Vancouver is also holding a VO 1M in their showroom as a display car only. They even roped it off to keep people from messing it up.

There was one here in Vic, 6500km or so on the clock. IIRC they wanted 60k for it, GLWS... On second thought I just checked, it's gone now.

If it is for sale i'd be pissed. One of the salespeople told me it wasn't for sale. I was really tempted to buy it.

I was in BMW Toronto for service a week or so ago and I asked the same. It is spoken for according to the receptionist I asked. I guess your mileage may vary?

Really? There are more here than the 850CSi, and look how well that retained its value. Same for Z4MC. Ultimately, IMO, you want to sell before the 2 series comes out and has comparable performance to the 1M for less money. So I think you're on the right track!

I know demand in Calgary is quite high, if you can't find a buyer in ON.

You will fetch a good price for your 1M, but probably not MSRP.

Only 100-150 were made in total for Canada. There isn't a single one for sale in Toronto, so MSRP is very easy for the OP.

As my old boss said, everything in the auto business is for sale anytime as long as the number of money involved is right.

I guess the person I asked was misinformed. I was kinda surprised they had one.
Nice little car.

Sounds right. If there is any for sale, prices would be in that range. The last 3 I saw for sale went for 67k, 69k and 69k also.

Actually not as much as you think. The Z4MC only had 1500 made and they are going down in price as we speak. I owned one. I see no difference here.

MSRP is $48k. They are not worth a dime more with 0 miles. I saw one with 11 miles in Los Angeles and they wanted $51k.

I would recommend you see 2 to 3 different BMW dealerships (work one against the other) and let them know that you will check with others, this way they will sharpen there pencil and give you a good trade in and perhaps a discount. Do tell them your intentions of getting into a M5 ... In the end you will be ahead since you only pay tax on the difference of cash (new car less trade in as you well know).

You will save yourself the tire kicking fellows and lowballs. Good luck
