As I understand it, road force balancing helps detect and, to a certain extent, based on tire placement on the wheel, correct for a tire that is not true dimensionally. For example, a square tire could be mounted on the wheel and perfectly balanced. But, it would not ride very smoothly. The road force process is not a substitute for traditional high speed balancing, but an additional process, I think.

Basically the reason im asking is because im swapping out my PS2's for PSS and my dealer ship would do a tire mount including high speed balance for $45ea and motor sport place by me wants $65 per tire to do a road force balance. Im just trying to justify the additional $20 expense per tire. how ever my dealership is trying to rip me $149 for an alignment when i just had one done (hate when they try to oversell)
