Broken right hand
I broke a bone in my right hand last weekend while surfing. Now driving my 6MT is a slightly painful experience. I know this is only temporary but I think I found the most pressing reason for the DCT... No surf or golf for 6 - 8 weeks

it is possible to drive and change gear with your left hand, I have done it before just for fun. Obviously you will never be as fast because you have to reach over your body, But I did drive for a while in New Zealand where they drive on the other side of the road, thus I was shifting with my left hand.

I agree that DCT is the best choice... for people with a broken right hand and/or no left leg.

I feel your pain. I crashed while skiing on the Osterfelder, near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I sprained my knee, took a pretty good shoulder hit and did a world class face plant. I spent three days in the Krankenhaus, before I could even try to drive my 911 home. The attempt was comic with only two extremities working at 100%.

I recently broke my right hand (3rd metacarpal) as well. For four weeks I had to rely on D mode before I could use the paddles again. Hopefully you can have your cast removed quickly as mine was only on three weeks. I'm playing golf tomorrow seven weeks post break. Good luck.

Hope you feel better, darn it adds insult to injury, right?
Now you have to deal with two painful experiences instead of just one...... 1. The painful experience of shifting the MT with a broken hand and... 2. The painful experience of losing to DCT M3s over and over again..... I promise that with time...#1 will go away, but #2 your stuck with. JK, JK , JK.... I hope you get better soon...
