let's get a regular nba season thread going

dumb lakers worked so hard and is going to be seeded number two, well good luck spurs meet you guys in the west finals

you can see that winning streak right after the all-stars break was completely worthless, not only they don't get the 1st seed in the West, they can't even catch Chicago for 2nd best record in the league, and frankly they might end up 4th or 5th seed league overall...and they think that they can win away from home in the playoffs?!...this is why i predicted that they would lose in the WCF to the Spurs...and i'm still held to it.

If anything I see them loosing in the Finals, but still keeping my hopes up for a 3 peat.

The Lakers have a few things going for them, one of which is experience which plays signifcantly as they move along, but health is critical as well. They may pass the Spurs because the Spurs are hurting, but so are the Lakers themselves, especially the Lakers' big 3 (Bryant, gasol, bynum), so we'll see how they perform.

This is not the attitude going into the playoffs..backpedaling and shit..oh well, these lakers are not interested in playing in June, they want some time off and watching other people play in June for a change...

yeah i know what they did last year before the playoffs, they lost a bunch of games before heading in, but this year is differerent bro...lakers will lose in the WCF...

Not worried about the Spurs.

He actually played 40 mins in one game however, the Lakers were 2-5 in the 5 games prior to the first game he sat out. My point being, I'm not that worried about the regular season yet the same detractors are saying the same thing year after year yet the Lakers keep making it to the NBA Finals. 3 finals appearances, 2 championships have not changed much I guess.

The Lakers last year were 57-25.

This year they are 55-24 with 3 games remaining.

The sky is falling.

Once again twinturbo, you keep trying to bring down the Lakers year after year because you obviously don't like them but the records are virtually identical and the Lakers are finishing the season about the same as last year.
