2011 E90 Purchase

OK what would you rather have... not that I can't make up my own mind, but i'm trying to weigh which is more bang for the buck

A. Get the EPS (Upgraded Stereo) + 19" Forged OEM 220 wheels

or

B. Get the Competition Package and regular Stereo?

I'm opting for option A. But just trying to see others opinions.

Also the following is my purchase breakdown. I read through the ED price list and came up with the following. Hope these are accurate for 2011.

BMW M3 E90 Euro Invoice
Base Price________47,400
DCT______________2,640
19" Wheels________1,090
Alarm______________350
moonroof___________955

Interlagos Blue______500
Sat Radio___________320
Premium Sound_____1,730
CW package_________910
tech package______2,960

Stereo. The Comp Package rims aren't even forged. The optional forged 19's are amazing! They have a recessed ring behind the spokes for depth, and the finish is really nice. They are as attention-getting as chrome without being ghetto.

The Enhanced Premium Sound is also a great option. From the factory, the audio doesn't sound excellent, but when you apply some customized settings to the equalizer, the system really shines. My friend rode in my car with my settings and was extremely impressed at the clarity and response of the system over his (which wasn't adjusted).

^^^thats why i'm thinking forged 19s and stereo. I LOVE the ZCP wheels, but they aren't forged wth were they thinking. $2500 for a package with subpar wheels? However I'm coming from HK stereo out of my E46 and I love it. I would think the standard stereo would meet my 05 (actually older) technology and be great still. I love to listen to music but a $1900 stereo system has be baffled.

Yeah, but it sounds really, really good. If you were in CA you could listen to it. I get that it's really expensive, but I would rather spend the extra money now and not have to mess with the OEM stereo later. I.E., I don't want to cut and splice into a $60k car so get the Premium sound from the factory.

I would actually delete Cold Weather Package unless you need the folding rear seats and headlamp washers. Just get heated seats as a standalone option. The fold down seats add ~20 lbs. and a hole in the shelf for the folding feature (I believe). I also don't like the look of the headlamp washers. I'd rather just clean the car myself.

Yeah I will probably go with option A. I'm being good and keeping within a budget otherwise this thing would be abother $10k.

Def need folding rear seats and heated seats. I'm always transporting things and love the seats in winter/summer. The headlamp washers, yeah i agree not needed, but they kinda came with the price of ZCW. But maybe i'll go ahead and save the $10 and not get them lol.
