Just installed the diffuser. What a PIA.

Fitment was about a B-. I put 3M tape, but because it doesn't bend exactly like the bumper, not all parts of the tape are in contact with the bumper, so there's minor gaps.

The part that really pissed me off, was the tabs that you have to drill so you can screw it into the bumper in the existing holes. There are four tabs, and they weren't uniformed sizes. A couple was soo short that, in order for it to fit, I had to screw near the edge of the tab, which caused one of it to break. So basically, my bumper is being held on by 3 screws.

I also have the AA exhaust, and the tips are soo big that it touches the diffuser. I had my shop lower it as far as it would go and it still touches because I can't get the diffuser to fit perferctly on the bumper. What's weird is, when I drive around and the exhaust gets hot, the exhaust actually drops down a little so it doesn't touch it anymore. But when it cools, its touching again.

Hopefully this doesn't melt the clear coat.

Overall I'm still satisfied with the product. I decided to leave it as is, since the imperfections from my installation is minor and I'd probably do more harm than good to try and remove it.

This is a problem that many of the Vorsteiner diffusers have as well. We've corrected this problem by lengthening the two tabs (that attach to the bottom of the rear bumper via screws) and inserting extra long holes in each tab. Every OEM and aftermarket piece has minor variations in shape from one piece to the next, and these longer tabs allow our customers some leeway when installing their diffusers.

Here's a picture of our final production model that I received yesterday:

My AA exhaust doesnt touch... maybe you just need to adjust the exhaust a little ...... Also my taps didnt line up for the original holes either apparently real vorsteiner diffusers have this problem too.... thats why i just used the self tapping screws in the rear too....

I cant get the exhaust any lower. I even took it to the muffler shop and they couldn't either.

Are you sure about that? The tabs on the Vorsteiner diffuser type 2 are actually quite beefy with more surface area for solid fitment and look nothing like that 1st pic. Your final production tabs are no doubt better than the pic of the diffuser that C17MooseDriver posted, but they seem a little thin, with not as much surface area as the VRS diffuser tabs, good looking diffuser regardless and the tabs should still work fine.

Here's a few pics of the VRS type II diffuser tabs.

I'm having my 3D rep lip install by a shop, but they try to fit the lips on it...and said to me its not perfect....the lower left and rip intake holes doesn't fit right on to it..even they both alittle cm here and there...still not perfect...

So now, they will be sanding some of the topping off from the side to make it fit tightly...

I will take a snap today...to let you guys see

I had similar experience with the 3D rep lip. It would take professional body shop install to get it fit perfect.

Just got the lip. Quality looks outstanding. I'm very impressed. Seems very durable and sturdy. It's definitely alot thicker than the diffuser and a little heavier, but I think that's good for the lip.

Comes with long self tapping screws and the install looks easier than the diffuser. JL-Motoring is great to deal with. Most of emails have been replied to within a few seconds.
