I can help give some insight on them. First off they are both incredibly bright lights, over 2x brighter than the stock headlight bulbs. The H8 V5 are adjustable color from a neutral 5000K to a cool 12,000K white color so it offers more choices and ability to customize your car. The H8 160's are a fixed white color around 7000K and also a bit brighter than the V5's. They are both the same price as well now.
We also offer a 60 day return policy so if you want to order both you can and just return the 1 set you dont want. All returns need to be in New or Like new condition meaning no damage to them.

I really can' t tell the difference in the brightness, other then the v5 you can adjust. are the 160's a lot brighter.

I just installed the H8 160 (took 15 minutes) and love it!!! Car looks so much more refine now!! I'll try to take a picture and post it.
For what's worth I bought mine from FCP for $199 and free 2 day shipping. They also come with free lifetime warranty from FCP.
