Getting my car through Bob Smith Calabasas. My CA tells me it takes 3 - 7 days from when the vessel docks to when it gets to the dealer. Is this consistent with what others have experienced or what you've heard?
Mantis - following the wrong ship...that's too funny...sort of. have you found your future ride yet? i think i read that it docked. if true, you're closer than us on the Madame. |

Hi guys-I am over on the e90post tracking several ships (my car is on Hojin). As part of tracking Don Juan yesterday, I noticed that Madame Butterfly and Maersk Wind were both running late going through the Panama Canal. I have tracked lots of ships and this was very unusual for me to see. I learned tonight that the Panama Canal is really backed up with a surge of ships wanting to cross, so ships are having to wait a few days to get through. I happened to catch a pic of Madame Butterfly going through the Gatun Locks yesterday on the PanCanal web cams. See my posts here:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=130988&page=7 She started her journey through Gatun very early in the morning yesterday and completed her passage through the PanCanal just after dinnertime last night. If you read through the Don Juan thread and look at the AIS screenshots I posted, you will see her on the map. She is now headed to SoCal. It generally takes six-seven days to get to SoCal from the Pacific side of the PanCanal. She really should reach SoCal around 4/19, but I don't know if she is going to San Diego or LA before PH. I haven't looked. |

thanks, SPN.... sucks... it seems that this ship has taken longer than everyone else's. Originally, I think, Mantis - correct me if I'm wrong, the orig. date of arrival for the madame was the 14th (today) now it's a full week late.... oh well, I guess what else is new with this....

Thanks SPN...that's the update we've been waiting for. Good to know she's still making progress towards PH. Although 2W now says 04/22. This is painstaking.

not sure... looks like from the 2w site, it's still scheduled for the 22nd... I pinged my CA and he said the same thing... although some good news, I guess, is that he did say he's throwing in the M mats for free....
