A lot on my list was to make the swap as bolt up as possible and make it operate as much like a stock car as possible with ac and all working electronics. Your car is going to be epic and I cant wait to see what you do with it. Are you going to do CF roof and CSL door cards for her too? i know you are camping on a set now. |

Interior I am going to make match the photos I have. Though I will toss in some individual parts. You know me I can't leave something alone. The CSL door cards still need to get put in to the CSL HAHA. One of the few items left on that car. Just busy so time to do it has not been there.

Second community question. Stay with current tail lights as they are what is seen in the image below or upgrade to LED? I am actually impartial to this one.

My vote for color is on TiAg or livery appropriate from the racecar. On the taillights, I'd leave them period appropriate. |

Good luck with the project.
looks like an Epic one! As for the color, I would go with either Topaz or Estoril (or the newer Estoril II From the F30's) Always loved blue BMW's, and those are the nicest ones IMO |

Original Silver is my vote (also BMW is well known for this color) but if I have another choice I would go with a very clean White.
Tail lights I guess you could go either ways but maybe go LED for latest technology. |

Le Mans blue looks amazing in person. If you want to stand out a little, a slight color deviant from the traditional e46 m3's sounds good to me!

subbed. going to be an epic build OP, no matter what engine platform you decide/color/etc.
on another note, i know it wasnt a color option but Atlantis Metallic Blue is def. my favorite.

Cool project. Silver would be my only choice for this project.

cool build. i think if you go through the trouble of making the street version m3 gtr clone then stick to everything as original as possible. i don't think power is really that big a concern here so why don't you stick with the S62 which will look much closer on the intake side. its more period correct. time to put some feelers out in middle east. one of these cars just may be sitting in a scrap yard. might be able to get some parts.

Hey adam, i saw this and thought it would potentially be of interest to you.
I know you have the car already, but this includes a low mileage S62 V8 and most of what is needed for a swap. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-M3-M3-E4...US_Cars_Trucks |
