Active Autowerke Signature Exhaust E46 M3 Gen 6

Designed specifically for the E46 BMW M3 exhaust system, the all-stainless Active Autowerke Generation 6 is our most innovative cat-back exhaust to date. Its precision-tuned straight-through design with in line resonators offers an incomparable combination of power, sound and styling. Well suited to both naturally aspirated and supercharged vehicles, this new and revolutionary BMW M3 Exhaust design employs inspired pipe routing and optimum diameters to enable the Gen 6 to literally unleash horsepower without restrictions. Sporting the same classic 80mm tips like the earlier versions, everything else about the Gen 6 is new. It’s lighter, stronger and more robust – with a distinct sound unique to the generation. Does it work? You bet it does. Performance gains of 5-7 peak rear WHP can be expected. Is it really that free-flowing? Comparison dyno tests were run on an E46 BMW M3 with no rear exhaust vs one with the Gen 4 system installed. Zero power loss was measured with the Gen 6 in place. Like we said, this thing is practically invisible! But you can sure hear it. Just listen for the rich, low frequency tone at idle to moderate RPMs. And the distinct, robust sound at higher RPMs – validating Gen 6’s superb performance characteristics. Active Autowerke Performance Software Package w/Simon Tool

Active Autowerke's Engineers have spent countless amount of years fine tuning the E46 BMW M3 software tune. With countless revisions and updates being made through our Race and Forced Induction program we have been able to bring this upgrades to the street. Whether you enjoy you car as a daily driver or enjoy the weekend track outings our BMW M3 tune software will be able to accomodate your neeeds. With careful, detailed remapping to the entire DME we have been able to increase your S54's output by 14 HP and 11 ft lbs of torque for a normal street car. We also have different upgrades available for offroad use like sport button modification, SMG lights, 02 Simulation, etc. The Active Autowerke upgraded BMW M3 software is designed to operate with gasoline that has an average octane rating with full emissions to create a clean burning combustion with good AFR’s all within factory specifications. Paired with our BMW M3 Sport Header the gains are even more dramatic!

2) Purchase a Simon Tool from Active Autowerke and install the software yourself. Very useful if additional software upgrades are needed in the future.
3)Remove and mail Active Autowerke your ECU and we will install the software. Same day turnaround on all software with free 2nd day air to lower 48 states. See Tech Support for details on removal and mailing of ECU.
