aftermarket exhaust with DCT

Hi Chaps,
Sorry if this sounds like a very simple question, but with any aftermarket exhaust, are the downshifts with DCT as blindingly good as with the standard exhaust ?. What i mean is, with the standard exhaust, the downshifts seem to be right in the meat/growl of the vocals of the exhaust. With a deeper sounding set up, are the downshifts as intoxicating as the standard setup ?, regards, SIMON.

The downshifts are much louder - too loud IMO. I prefer downshifts to be more subtle - with an aftermarket exhaust you just get people giving you dirty looks as you approach a corner...

Simon,

DCT shifts insanely quick on the newer E9X M3 models. That paired with an aggressive exhaust system from the likes of Supersprint, Eisenmann, or etc. will increase that "blip" sound considerably with each downshift. Race-car like sounds.
