question on US vs Dubai specs....
does anyone know if any difference in specs...went on the website and the M3 specs appear identical....may need to ship my 2009 M3 from US to Dubai....not sure if the Middle East cars have larger radiators/ ac units?/ emissions standards...appreciate any feedback

You might want to get in touch with BMW NA on that subject or the U.A.E. Customs web site if they have one. I know that in Canada the Customs web site clearly identify which car can be imported and what mods needs to be done so it can pass Canada's safety inspection.

There are a few US imported cars running around here so it's not a problem. A friend has a G55 that he got last year and it's running flawlessly. There are no emission standards like you're used to so no tests and such but all gas stations sell unleaded which is about the same or maybe slightly superior to US unleaded. Bring it over, even the warranty would be valid in Dubai.

I am planning to take my car to Turkey in couple years. I was told that the entire software and catalitic converters are different between the European versions. The European ones can not read US versions and vice versa. But usually many repair shops that fixes imports have the compatible softwares.
