What is the price of the vehicle: MSRP? what discounts they offered you?

I've been dealing with Shelly BMW. I bought 2 vehicles from them in the past. Let me know. I can talk to my guy and see if he can hook you up. Eli

Stay away from MSRP....start with Invoice and work up based on what you are willing to offer as profit. By 30 or 31 Oct....they will be willing to take invoice.

Then......deduct your trade-in/cash from that price. Keep that in your back pocket until the last minute to keep the process simple and the math straightforward.

Really, I would not start with MSRP....

Invoice...!

If you have to move on a number, go $400 to $700 over invoice.

Find out what the invoice is on Edmunds.com. If the MSRP is 65k, and the invoice is 60k, then you start with 60k, and add $500 dollars on top. Downpayment is all up to you. The monthly is where you want to be as well. If you are doing straight financing, then use www.bankrates.com. They have an online calculator. As a rule of thumb, I deduct the downpayment from the total selling price or the negotiated price of the vehicle, and multiply the price of the vehicle with 9% (that will cover taxes and license fees). Input the price of the vehicle, along with years, interest rates, and voila, you got the monthly payments.

Sell your 325i privately and buy an 08 M3 for below invoice. That was exactly what I did.

I definitely agree you should private sale the car. You are going to get killed on it either way, but you'll lose less with a private sale.

I looked into the Select "Balloon" option and BMW said "700 credit score...no problem." Otherwise, look for other options.

I got the select loan with baloon no problem, and i doubt my credit score is 700 due to my mortgage company screwing me over and marking a payment late when it wasn't

Balloon is like a lease; however, it is for 60 month, there a balance owed, and no mileage to worry about. Simply put. If you are the type of person who has another vehicle to drive as a workhorse, then lease the car. If you think you are going to trade the car in 3 years, then lease. But if you think you are going to keep the car for a while, then buy it.
